Juvenile Citations

In Municipal Court, ages 16 and younger are considered juveniles while 17 and older are adults in non-traffic matters.  A parent or guardian must accompany the juvenile to their court date.  If no parent or guardian is in attendance, the Judge will postpone the case.  Juvenile cases are confidential and will be heard in a closed hearing.  When signing in for court, juveniles will be given a card with a letter on it and will be called by this letter rather than being called by name.

All traffic matters will be called by first and last name and be heard in open court.
